Anyone know of an aluminum pedal kit for the '06 or '07 TR? sgp.com says that their kit won't work with "wire throttle" 06 TRs.
im intersted as well for my 06 TR...........
uummmm pedals are pedals, aren't they? I mean, DBW or not, your foot still pushes something. And since the car comes with pedals, replacing them changes nothing. I have a set of aluminium pedals from Pep Boys, and i've had no problems at all. Just make sure that during the install, the actual piece that your mounting the new pedal to has its full range of motion.

I think the both of us are looking for oem style alum pedals........
Idok hit the point. Also, if function was all we cared about in this world, then it'd be one ugly world to live in. Then again aesthetics are functional, just depends on your perspective.
you know, now that I think about it....
that kit might work on an 06....seem to remembre reading a writeup on scoobymods where they put one of those on a TR...
could be wrong though....
My 06 LTD comes with alum. pedals..might want to try OEM.

06 WRX TR uses the same gas pedal assembly 2.5RS which is is not the same as the LTD/STI models. The Brake & Clutch pedals will interchange. To switch out the gas pedal assembly to the LTD/STI unit, will run you about $150 from Subaru. Alternatively, there is a writeup that tells you how to modify your gas pedal assembly and make it work without thie new unit from Subaru.
