All you need is Boost and an EGT if you are modded. The EGT doesnt move much since it measures temperature.

I realize you want to show off to friends while driving, but you might as well just get an in-dash display to show movies at that point.

oil pressure moves around a little, I like it, because you can tell when your oil is up to operating temp. It will sit constant at about 85psi when you are driving, and it will drop to about 25psi when at idle.

Robman - don't quit your day job

Downshift - good point and well friends or not personally I like the entertainment value as well, friends are simply amazed that they arrived at the destination alive.

afbluesv1k - I figured that the oil pressure would move, how about fuel? I think that would just stay stable once the motor turns over or once the ignition is engaged

anyone else? So far it’s EGT, Oil Pressure and what else? Need one more

How does an oil press. gauge tell you your oil temp?

I guess if the goal is simply to buy a gauge that moves. I that case, maybe mount the temp. probe in the center of the driver's seat and then you would know if you have a fever coming on.

that would be more useful than an air/fuel gauge hooked up to the stock o2 sensor
