turbo timers

Wasn't sure where to throw this question, figured I would start here.

I want to get one installed, and I am torn between trying to do it myself, or pay someone to do it right the first time. I like the timer that fits the stock sized switch plates. My big concern is who I should let do it. I want to be able to do it and keep my factory alarm function unscathed. Is this something that a Subaru Dealership could do? The aftermarket stores in my town are either bad or non-existant. I am in Roanoke, VA. and I drive an 03 Wrx, pretty much stock at the moment.

If you search on the forum you will find that you do not need to add this item to your WRX - the turbo is still cooled even after the car is shut off.

i read somewhere that it is one of the first recommended upgrades...
