Noob Please help with short throw shifters!

Well I dont know if im just dumb or if it really has not been discussed here, I have tried the search function multiple times and have come up with nothing. I want to buy a short throw shifter but i dont want to spend a lot of money, but im getting confused about some of the short throw shifters. Some say short shifters and others short throw shifters, im thinking that the short shifters only shorten the height of the actual shifter and the short throw decreases the actual throw distance. I want a short throw shifter and have been trying to research them. Could someone help me out with a couple of good short throw shifters that are resonably priced with links and everything i would need for the short throw shifter, bushings etc. Thank you all for the help!

    Get this one:

It's what most people are running (along with the multi adjustable unit from Cobb). I have it, and love it. The bushings really improve shift feel.
