OK, first off, I did a search on this and still needed to post- I need to remove my clock and I've had the dash apart, but it feels like the clock's in there pretty good- I feel like I could put some force into it, but I'm afraid of breaking something- is there a way to "finess" it out, like sliding it back.forward and then out or something? I'd appreciate some help on this if anyone knows how to do it.
Thanks- Jim

I think that there are 4 clips. You just have to pop it out.
If it won't pop out, remove the cup holder and the adjacent trim piece. Then, pop the vent louvers. You can reach under the clock ftom there and maneuver the clips.

Just rip the frigging thing out Man!I'm afraid of breaking something- is there a way to "finess" it out,
Pull up hard on that lip, and the back (windshield side)
comes right out. The front is a bit more stubborn.
Pulling one conner up at a time worked for me.
Oops, I thought he has the pod thing out and couldn't get the clock out it.
Yah, just pull hard, the back comes out pretty easy, it's the front that is a pain.
