Boost & EGT Installation - First Time

Please pardon this moment of noobie intrusion....

Today, I just finished my boost and EGT gauge on my 05 WRX.

I had replaced the manifold with borla headers (individual piping for each cylinder) and tapped my EGT sensor right after all 4 pipes merge for an average reading of all 4 cylinders.

Was this best way for a EGT tap?

    Next the boost gauge...

I snipped a peice of the pipe coming out of the stock bov and put in a " T " connector there with the original BOV line continuing and the vacuum line going to the gauge. This gave me a 6-7 PSI reading while testing full boost. Is this the correct tapping method for the boost gauge?

    I'd appreciate any helpful feedback.

    Thank you

you really want the egt closer to the cyl head for better readings, you dont want the avg you want the highest, and thats usually on the drivers side cylinder head,

it also seems like your gauge is messed up you should be reading higher than 7psi of boost
