Back Seat question

Question, somehow my back driver side seat has become unattached at the top of the backrest. I can see where there is a metal bar that goes overtop of the other to keep it attached but I can't get the seat bar back over. If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about and how to fix it that be awesome.

Lift the back of the seat UP > Back > Over the bar > Down

The backing is all styrofoam, so just keep trying till it works. You need to give it some muscle or else it wont budge very much.

It sounds like it was taken apart once, and not put back together correctly. Remove the lower half of the seat to gain access to the back rest bolts. The lower seat is attached with two 12mm bolts in the front. Once the lower seat is out, remove the bolts for the back rest, slide the back rest upwards, put it back in the correct position, and slide it downwards. Reinstall the bolts, and the lower seat.

If you stretch the seat like that, it will always sit a little funny afterward.

Thanks guys, I'll be pulling off the lower seat and fixing it today.
