My dead pedal is not OEM Stock..
Its a OEM style dead pedal made by autospeed performance.

You can easily make the STI dead pedal fit in a US WRX. Just cut out a piece of aluminum sheeting using the original dead pedal as a template. Drill the holes for the plastic pop rivets and put it in the car. Line up the STI dead pedal where you want it and mark the four mounting holes on the aluminum and draw around the pedal. Drill the holes and trim the aluminum around the outline of the pedal. Paint the aluminum, tighten the STI dead pedal down and install. It looks great and you don't have to cut or drill anything in the interior!! I'll get some pics of my setup and you can tell me what you think.

Also, cut the excess of the four screws on the pedal off. This way it doesn't stick up off the carpet. It only took me about 30 min to do. Course, I already had the aluminum and tools to cut with.
