    Speaker vibration.

I have a 2006 Sti. I am perfectly satisfied with the stock stereo for now except for the vibration in the front speakers. This occurs due to bass even at relatively low volumes. Anyone have a fix for this?

Is the vibration in the "speaker" or the "door panel" where the speaker is?

    In the door panel

It does not sound like a bad speaker just sounds like the speaker is vibrating against something.

It's probably either the door panel or the plastic liner in the door. Take the door panel off and make sure everything is secure. The back of the door panel has some excess material on the back that you can trim off with a razor to keep it from resting on the speaker...

yeah, i've had that problem on my passenger side speaker since day one... I just turn up the volume loud enough that the music drowns out the vibration heheh... maybe i'll try putting an old shirt in that door pocket or something.
