Arrow Placement for WRX turbo gauge?

Hi! I just bought a new 06 WRX and I am having a turbo gauge installed this Tuesday and I want to know where the Subaru boost gauge should be: ON the left or the right side of the steering column.

It is personal preference, but my OEM was installed on the left I like it there. It obscures a tiny bit of the fuel and temp gauges.

I got use to it on the right side in my '02, and it drives me crazy that it hides the temp gauge on the left on my '06. If it was on the right side on the '06 it would hide the trip odometer though, and I'm sure that's why they moved it since the spedometer moved to the right. Anyway, left is correct for the '06 as said above.

So what I am hearing is left for the OEM gauge? I was thinking that because on the right it would be covering my speed meter.
