i was wondering if there is any year impreza that would work with the '02-04 wrx so that a person could delete the power windows and possibly save a few pounds. was there ever a hand crank impreza ? anyone know? this is odd but it had me wondering.

More realistic things to delete carpet, sound deading, clear out trunk (liner spare tire), get rid of misc. mounts in engine compartment (may require some welding to modify/connect parts) aftermarket rims/tires, rear seats (if you can settle without it).
0-60 faster then your first sexual experience.

The RA versions of JDM WRXes and STis came with manual windows. Maybe you can find someone to do a door swap? Though I have not the sligtest idea about fitting, etc.

The original OEM Imprezas (1993+) came with manual windows (if not upgraded to power windows). I don't know about swapping/etc. But I'm sure they sell manual replace/repair kits in Subaru parts catalogues.

I'd agree to keep the actual rear seats, but the sound deading/brakets underneath can go.
