Stock boost gauge electric or mechanical? Aftermarket plug and play options?

I just bought an 06 TR and it didnt come with the stock boost gauge. Before I start modding id like to put in a boost gauge. I like the Omori 45mm gauge but have a few questions.
Is the OEM boost gauge mechanical or eletric?
If its electric I'll spend the extra $$$ for a gauge I can just splice in vs running a mechanical line.
Where is the OEM boost gauge harness located?

    Im looking at getting this:

I've searched and searched and even called the dealership to find out if the stock gauge is mechanical or electric and even they didn't know.

    Please help

    Thanx
    Jeremy

As far as I've found it's Mechanical... It taps into the vacuum line going to the BPV and doesn't go to a sender.

Yeah I'm gonna get the Omori with the steering wheel pod. Does anyone have a pic of the factory Boost gauge harness behind the stereo? Id like to buy a factory connector to make for a clean install.

    Thanx

    Jeremy
