wanting to get after market ones with the stock housing

should i just get the housing and put like 2 guages in their on my own instead of 3 ?

The stock ones are 45mm. Lots of people get the stock housing and dremel it out to use 52mm gauges. The difference between 45 and 52 is pretty substantial.
