    Compustar alarm

I have a 2006 WRX with a recently installed Compustar alarm. I need to disable the factory alarm. Where is the brain of the factory alarm located? Thanks

Why do you need to disable factory alarm? The factory system only works with the factory transmitter, so put the factories in a safe place and just use the compustar ones.

The compustar system messes with the factory system, like turning it on so I have to carry both remotes just in case.

Thats very weird, I'm not familiar with compustar alarms,( My work only installs vipers) I just don't understand why it would be integrated with the factory system. Having to carry 2 transmitters would be a pain in the butt. Was the compustar dealer installed or installed by a 12 volt shop?
