    I have a 02 and found the alarm right by the ebrake. remove the abs cover around the ebrake and if its the same as mine it will be under there. i unplugged mine and took it out.

    I checked and its not there. Thanks though. Does anyone know where the factory alarm is located in the 04-up STi's?

    I found it behind my glove box right behind the steel beam that runs across the dash. 1 10mm bolt holds it down. Just unplug the wire and the factory alarm is eliminated. The reason why I removed this is because it affected my after market alarm.
