Hey guys, I got a 2016 sti and I am looking into getting a dashcam.
I've been looking at the kdlinks x1 and the support is very responsive. They've recommended getting their hardwire kit, which looks like this
Adapter Wire Adapter Electronic device Cable

They also sent me some instructions that seem to wire it to a cigarette lighter outlet

Would I be able to stick those in the fusebox or something?

Also anyone have any experience with the Falcon zero f170?

Thanks

I just hardwired a G1W to my fusebox using a very similar kit. It's not hard. You just need the correct fuse tap, and maybe some shrink wrap if you wanna make it look pretty and you should be good to go. There are quite a few YouTube videos and threads out there about hardwiring dash cams. The process really is no different.

This vid for a 2011 is pretty similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDAmNQc3GpU
