    6x9 speakers

    i was wondering of installing 6x9 speakers subaru impreza 2005 and was wondering if any of you had done it and has a pic of it i was wondering having them either on the trunk shelf or in the backdoor

    I have 5x7s in the rear deck in my bugeye.. I'm planning on eventually replacing them with 6x9s, but I'm going to make a custom wood panel to go there.

    Yeah.. the metal structure under the deck seems as if it were made for my 5x7s to fit (even though that's not a factory speaker location, it has baskets built in for the magnets to fit). I may have to do some cutting when I change speakers, but I've already committed to cutting much of the metal out of the inside of the trunk/doors on my car.. so it's not a big deal if the new speakers don't drop right in.
