2011 WRX cubby hole light color change

So I have been searching for awhile over here and nasoic, but to no avail.

Does anyone know where I can find a BLUE replacement bulb for my red one in my 2011? Its the single cubby light that the footwell illuminations are wired to.

I want to get the blue footwell illumination kit, but I would like to change the cubby bulb to blue.

All I could find was 2008-10 cars that already have blue lights. Thanks for the help.

I believe its an LED module you can try and tap into the power and fab your own or have someone replace the LED

Correct. You would have to fab your own or buy the lighting kit in blue.

Where would I buy the lighting kit? The subaru footwell kit in blue?

And thank you for that part number! Worth a try!

There is a magical thing called Google you would just need to search footwell illumination kit. You can either purchase the Subaru one or get a universal one on ebay which is just led's. If you go a universal it may be cheaper but you will have more color choices other then blue and red you also wont have the nice connecters that the oem one has. If you go with a universal you can be a little more creative with placement. Maybe even run a switch to certain ones or even light up your cup holders or vents

Yes I know what Google is and how to use it, hence the reason I posted this thread. I want to change the cubby light because I'm buying the blue subaru footwell kit. I've had no issue finding that on the Google machine.
The footwell kits do NOT come with a new cubby light.

Difference between LED lamps 66237SA120 and 66237SA020 - NASIOC
From that post they say that
    66237SA020 is the blue
    66237SA120 is the red
you may want to call your local parts department to verify this

No prob dont forget to post before and after pics. In my previous car I had a bright HU with blue lights got distracting so I decided to go against the interior lighting. Maybe if it was switchable I would go for it.
