    Headliner Compatibility

The two-toned interior is really starting to bother me. I had a 2010 Impreza before my 2014 WRX, and it didn't bother me as much at first. I am planning on painting the factory tan trim black (following the steps of another post here, which came out great).

Eventually, I want to cover the dash in Alcantara, because the factory plastic just looks so cheap, but that's down the road. In the mean time, I want to I was also thinking about redoing the headliner in Alcantara, but I also think that might be a bit over the top.

I have the Premium model, so I have to replace the sunroof cover and weather stripping as well.

I was curious if I could just buy a black headliner for an STi and replace mine. And if so, which years would be interchangeable?

    08+? 11+? Or only 2014.

They should be interchangeable. make sure you have the correct one for the hatch or sedan. another option would be to find someone to re do it in alcantara or dye it black

Thanks, I figured they would mostly be interchangeable. I did some shopping around and I found a few in the $200 range, but that is before shipping.

I will probably look into getting the stock headliner rewrapped in Alcantara or some other nice faux suede. I just need to find a reputable shop nearby.
