    New shift knob

I'm not too happy with the stock knob on the 5 speed. I've been looking at WC Lathe Werks, but those are pricey, if pretty. Are they worth the price, or should I look at others, too? I've got the OEM short throw shifter, if it matters. Definitely don't want my hand to be touching metal, though. Thanks in advance!

I had a Kartboy knob. It was ok but i got rid of it. I now have a WC Lathe Werks copolymer teardrop. I will never change the Lathe Werks knob. The Cobb's are also nice though.
    Find a low-mileage one-owner unmodified '04/'05 and you're golden.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

If you don't mind me asking, what were your complaints with the Kartboy? And I was considering the teardrop (or its hybrid derivative that's half steel), the Elite VP sphere, or the piston, although the last choice is mainly because it looks completely awesome.

The Kartboy knob is a decent knob but its light and it just sort of feels cheap. It just doesnt fall to hand quite like the teardrop does. One thing i should mention is my teardrop is shaped slightly different. The taper on mine is more steep because i wanted the bottom end to be the same outside diameter as the shift lever.

I have a Perrin aluminum shift knob, with the aluminum reverse lockout release. I love it. It get's cold in the winter, but I don't care...I am a Mainiac true and through.
