This is a discussion on New shift knob within the Interior Mods forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; I have the Hybrid WRX Piston from WC Lathe Werks, it was a little pricey but hey, life's too short....

Just an update, I ended up going with the Elite VP sphere, with black copolymer and red engraving. Can't wait for it to arrive!
2013 WRX SE, completely stock, except for the mats.

Got this a few days ago. Fits perfectly on a 2013 wrx 5 speed. All I had to do was screw the knob in and attach the booth to the lips that came with the knob (perfect fit to).

Was confused when I read my own post. Thought maybe I was drunk when I posted.

On a related note, I have a STi STS in my 2013 Rex and I do wish the shifter had a more direct feel. My Tibby stock shifter was shorter and smoother. How much shorter is a Kartboy or Cobb than the Sti STS? And I know Ruh Roh posted about simply adding a heavier knob while leaving the STS and bushings alone made a big different in shift feel. Anyone else have a similar experience?

How about an Anarchy Motive knob? No lame engravings of the company's name. Weighs 3x as much as stock. Good finish and quality. Made with the lip to hold on the shift boot. Best part, it's cheap!
