    Annoying middle console problem

So my 2013 Rex has developed a rather annoying problem, the top of the middle console won't stay latched. Is anyone else having this issue, and if so has anyone found a way to fix?

Mine doesn't like to either. But since I almost always have an ipod cord hanging out of there anyways it doesn't bother me too much.

I have looooong ass legs so my seat is pretty far back. That's why my elbow hits that console. My arm needs as much clearance as possible right there. I'm about to just use some industrial tape to hold it down.

My issue I have is the arm rest extender, the 4 screws holding on to the console fell out. I need to get a new set I might have to go a bit bigger to hold it in. annoying as hell and im out of 36k.

Huh. Mine doesn't latch well, but it's basically only resting maybe a centimeter or two higher when it isn't latched.

Are we talking about the lid of the center console? Mine locks in place. The center console itself is well made. Just the whole thing is held in place by 2 screws. I'd avoid putting too much weight on it just like the sign says.

Mines got that problem too. I'm about to add weights to the lid to keep it from popping up

Local dealer replaced mine, still pops open. Especially in the winter months, I just ignore it now. Slamming it is about the only thing that helps.

The latch is plastic ****e! If it's failing, you have a car under full warranty still, roll up and ask for it to be replaced by a Suby dealer.

Ya its just the lid and only and issue with bumping while shifting. Other than looking dumb an inch open ..

Did you try the fix described in the link that I posted above?
