    Carbon Fibre Kits

Hello all, I have a 2003 wrx sedan and am looking to completely redo the interior. I was wondering where the best place to get true carbon fibre dash pieces/kits would be. If any of you have a favorite place to buy interior parts please let me know thanks.

The factory option carbon fiber accent parts used to be available from the dealer, but I'm not sure their availability now.

There are very few parts. Carbon bezels and such, are easy. gauge pods... etc.

The OEM inserts are not available in carbon anymore...
    and they don't last.

You will find that carbon is great looking for a few years, then turns milky and gray.
Take a look at some images of various cars before you buy, and make sure of what you want.

I have done a lot of carbon and other custom pieces, and carbon is touchy.
The OEM subaru parts are printed with a very fake looking carbon-ish pattern... it is not real carbon.
in pictures, it is decieving... the pattern in printed on, and does not have texture.

Okay it seems like any carbon would be challenging, if it was you all and you wanted to completely replace an interior how would you do it? Budget is not an issue and I am looking to start on everything. Seats, dash ect.

I'd want to start by coming up with a plan.

What do you want to replace and why? Do you just want different colors or are you trying to actually change "performance" with lighter racing seats and weight savings?

If budget were of no concern, I'd go for a GT-Spec D shaped steering wheel...and source some JDM S204 Recaro seats. Baller.

It's not worth it.... I have Bride seats, a Sparco wheel... a carbon knob... carbon all over the place...
I don't regret it... but it was a waste of money. If I could do it over again, I'd have opted for titanium.

I am trying to replace the entire interior, more for the sake of building a 1 of a kind car, also I find the interior in the car quite ugly, not even black leather. I will definitely look for titanium parts. Part of my issue is that I am not sure what all I can replace, I am very new to changing interior so any help would be great.

You can change anything. If you don't already know how to do it, then just take it to a good custom shop and tell them what you want.

Okay, looking to do the work ourselves, but I would imagine for things like leather I should take it to a custom place, anyone know anywhere good in NC?
