    That is a great idea! I tried a piece of plastic with velcro that I could use a suction mount, but that didn't work very good.

    +1. Or just get a Panavise or Proclip & keep your dash intact. But it may be a little too late for that LOL.

    Looks like you found a piece of metal in the street and said "hey! I can use this to mount my cell phone in my car!!!"

    Looks alright and functional though!

    Yea trust me I know, it was already a bit messed up over there so I made the best of a bad situation. I figure atleast this way its a functional flaw. And no I didnt find the metal on the street. I had to bend it around a bit to make it fit where I needed it too. You can barely even see the metal unless you look through the windshield and that part looks just fine.

    I have the same thing except mine is in my vent
    Yellow lights mean go faster!!!
