What to do with dash gauge pod

So I have a dash gauge pod but I have the gauges mounted on the side column, so now the dash thing is empty and im trying to figure out what to do with it. Ive been thinking of just taking a piece of plastic and painting it black but leaving the wrx logo in it and wraping leds around the plastic piece so that it would illuminate the wrx. I feel like ill get bored of this in the future though, and want something functional and unique but I just cant come up with any good ideas. The picture doesn't show the it very well but its the best I have at the time

I know what it is...pop out that whole goofy thing, and put the original clock back in. It will look much cleaner than the awkward gauge pod sitting up there.
