    Another airbag light/resistor mod question

Ok..... I have read all the airbag resistor mod threads.... all of them are sketchy... dont work for half the people that do them, etc. I have a few questions:

I installed earlier year STI seats in my car quite some time ago. Everything was fine for a couple years. Recently I have been getting an airbag light. I KNOW the problem is the driver seat (bladder and control box were all swapped into passenger seat)..... and when I jiggle the wires under the driver seat.... the light goes off...... for awhile.... and then comes back. Maybe a few minutes.... maybe a few weeks...... and it is guaranteed to go off if I adjust my seat. It is driving me crazy.

    1. If I do the resistor mod on the driver seat only.... will all the other airbags work correctly in the event of an impact?

    2. Which plug (s) EXACTLY require the resistor? There are 4 plugs under the driver seat.

    3. Does anyone have the EXACT specifications on which resistor to buy? Ive read 2.5, 3.0, 3.3..... cant seem to get a straight, definitive answer.

    Thanks in advance!

...and...... just got the email (after paying for them) that the part is obsolete and no longer available.

Thinking maybe I'll just buy a new airbag and install it.
