Looking at a Gtspec or a Prova ( if i can find a used one ). Any of you folks have an opinion on which one is nicer? I'm aware of the thumb grips on the Gtspec and actually like this feature but the Prova "looks" like a nicer wheel. If I can find a Prova used for the same price as a new Gtspec I might go that route....anyone here have an experience with these wheels? thanks in advance. Also wanted to ask those that use either one of these how the smaller diameter feels in relation to the oem wheel. Thanks

Does either wheel have an air bag?

GT Spec is designed to be direct replacement and retains the controls/air bag. I was looking at one, but stopped when i saw the price tag

yeah both are direct replacements ( you retain your original air bag ). Yeah the prices are kinda steep but I've seen a few group buys every now and then...paging Mr Kronos...

They are both baller. I love the GT-spec...but seriously cannot justify near that price for a replacement steering wheel. My stocker turns my car just fine.

Don't bother with Kronos anymore...it's not Adam, and the new owner is never around

Just out of curiosity, what's the appeal? What does this GT-spec wheel have that the stock wheel does not?

Pure looks...Unless you have mega fat legs, it would also add a little leg room

I've heard good things from those that have it about the smaller size being a bonus. Something about improving steering feel and responsiveness of the car as a whole. I think the OEM wheel is rather large too...

    I have big legs

But not big enough to warrant $600 on a steering wheel.

That's incorrect, you can transfer the controls just like the air-bag.

My bad. So let me get this straight. I'm paying $600 for this?

I'd still rather get a hammer.
