I don't think the dealer has time fo' dat either... unless the motor has completely failed. I'll see how it is in 6 months.

The windows on my WRX don't go down fast but they aren't awfully slow. To find out if they all go down at an equal speed I'd have to lower them all at once & I haven't had the need to conduct that experiment.

The Foz on the other hand, painfully slow. Its like the motor is running out of air once the window is down a few inches & slows down completely. I wouldn't blame Subaru since Nissan makes the motors.

I can see the reaction of the tech at the Dealership when you tell him of this problem

No one looked at me funny when I mentioned the issue - they just lubed the back window - I had it done when I was getting something else done that had to be done - can't remember what now - but I just mentioned it as a by the way and they fixed.

For the record, the back window wasn't slow initially, it got that way and I was only doing one window at a time, not 'stressing' the windor motors.

It's really funny how this thread expanded

Agreed! Sadly, auto is standard now and no longer a luxury option. I like a car to be as barebones as possible.

I haven't noticed any speed difference and don't really mind...it's not a Mercedes. However, what does bother me concerning windows, even in a car at this price point, is how loose the glass is in its tracks when the window is not rolled up all the way. You can rock it back and forth a bit with your fingers, and actually see it jiggling a bit as it travels. It makes the car seem cheap.
