I had the TWM phantom hybrid shifter on my GTI before I got the WRX. I recently purchased the adapter and installed it on my WRX but I didn't get the boot retainer. Just wondering if anyone has come up with a good idea to keep the boot up without shelling out the 25 bucks for the boot retainer from TWM.
