LED Interior Lights-Thoughts?

Thinking of putting in either white or red replacements for the map and dome lights.

Amazon has the white kit and the red one.

Has anyone tried these and like them? I'm leaning towards the red, but on the reviews said the owner got pulled over and told to take them out. Is red illegal only for the license plate lights, or the interior too?

go white unless its a red car. My buddy has the hyper white ones in his STi and they look pretty cool.

my boyfriend just recently got me map/dome/license plate/reverse/trunk LED. i love all of them. they really do look so much better than OEM.

also, i would assume that any red/blue lighting is illegal.

Yes, you can actually recieve a $250.00 ticket if the cop feels like it for red/blue lighting... Ive heard stories of cops kicking out blue fog lights (and getting away with it). And I would love to see the pics of a good set of hyper white dome lights... and maybe the brand/link ;D

If a cop ever kicked anything on my car I would end up in jail.

I AS WELL. My dad works for the registry (-_-) and saw a cop take his night stick and break a few blue lights a guy put on his windshield washer fluid spouts to make change color.

But a ticket for interior lights I don't think so. But I'm not a person who drives around with map lights on all the time

lol i have a blue LED strip in my hood scoop. i never have it on because its kinda stupid and i just did it because i was bored one day. In Cali you can have Red and Blue as long as they are under a certain light regulation, i dont know what it is but i think its the brightness of the bulbs.
