    STI CLUSTER Needle not moving

    gi guys i bought a 02 sti cluster for my wrx it came with blue leds i didnt like so i changed em to red and there so dull so i pulled it apart to get the green paint off from inside now the rpm and speedo needle dont move at all! i need help urgent i didnt remove the needles

    Are you absolutely certain you didn't tweak the needles? You also might have shorted something while working on the board.

    i didnt touch the circut board iland yes i didnt touch the needles

    i dont know about this certain guage but i know on my bike (2008 cbr 600) the needle's motor is extremely sensitive i've broke that motor twice when i was taking my guages apart

    Its the same with STI clusters...you can destroy the needles so easily...I'm willing to bet that's what happened.
