2008+ STi cup holder retractable cover in WRX

Is this possible? Has anyone done this? I know someone on CTsubie completely modified an existing STi console to fit his WRX. Is there a simple way of just adding the "cup holder" door that comes over and closes? This is what I'm interested in.

Do you have a link to the other thread that you talked about? I have looked at doing this in my WRX but I haven't figured out a nice way of getting rid of the DCCD controller.

I think I found a site to buy the STi console... someone with more knowledge than me, tell me if this is correct. It looks like its part #14 and/or #13 on the diagram.

I would spend $65 bucks to have something to install and have it look nice. I just enjoy doing these little mods.

Thoughts on if thats the right part and if it will fit on the 13 WRX?

Of course I understand that if that is the correct part, I would have that DCCD controller? If so, I figure I could create something half decent looking to take its place.
