Footwell illuminaton

and want to get the illumination kit and found a great write up on nasioc on install. This 2 questions I have regarding this are:

will a base model have the holes required to bolt the lights in?

will a 2013 fit? I read that impreza MY 09-11 and STi MY 2009-2012 is compatible on the site but I'm a MY 13' WRX base.

That's exactly what I bought and installed last Thursday. The holes are easy to spot, just stick your head down there...

I don't think I'll be able to get a decent pic, the red glow is very, very subtle - but I'll try. They're not bright ass club LEDs, but I do like the added touch.

Is it annoying having them stay on with the headlights? I don't want them too bright anyways. Not trying to be ricey

Nope, not annoying at all as they're not that bright, just a faint red glow. You can dim them with the dash dimmer too, but I doubt anyone would need to, they're just not that bright. Not ricey in the least bit. It's quite nice actually, kinda classy!

Thank you for that last post degobah77. You have now convinced me to do this easy DIY. This is my first electrical DIY (other than speakers) so I'm excited for the chance.

Very easy to install. I installed these right after I got my 12. Connecting both lights up to the middle compartment light was kinda a pain - just have to stick your fingers back behind the middle dash and fish them through.

Color is faint and is not annoying... helps bring some more life to the interior.
