Putting windows up after car turned off

I was wondering if anyone has done this to the WRX. On my last two cars I was able to turn off my car and still have the ability to put the windows up. I would only lose the power when opening the door. I would think with a 2012 car it would do the same, but power cuts out as soon as the car is off. I tried searching around and didn't come with anything. I would imagine its a simple wiring job, just wondering if anyone on here had done it and the steps involved. It would just be a nice thing to have.

Windows get power when the car is turned to the "ON" position (when you hear the fuel pump prime). If you can somehow change the connection for the window harness to the radio, you can do it as long as the key is still in the "ACC" position (the first "step" for the key when you shut the motor off). Follow the power lines and you should be able to cut/extend/splice them.

My 99 Talon TSi was like that too, you could turn the car off and remove the key. As long as you didn't open the door, the radio and windows still worked for about ten minutes afterwards... I was kinda surprised too that my Subie didn't do that...
