…..where did you mount the tweeter? Does it fit in the stock sail panel? Do you really have to butcher the sail panel to get them to fit?

You should install tweeters in either the A-Pillar or kick panels.

I mounted my blaupunct tweeters right into the factory sail panels.... but I have a 2010.. and you may not have a tweeter position there. 07's have the tweeter just ahead of the door handle..

You should be able to pop off your factory sail panels and mount the tweeter behind them. I had to get a little creative with mine but got it to work and it looks completely factory from the outside. I have a base model car, so I had to buy the sail panels (only $15 from local dealer). Since you already have them and the tweeters you could probably work something out with the factory mounts too.
