Have any of you seen a well done flocked dash in person? If not, do it before you judge. As I said, many race cars use flocked dashes. Depending on the fibers it can look and feel like suede without having any wrinkles, bubbles, seams etc

Okay, googled it. IMO, it's still hideous and completely impractical. Seriously, do you have to use a lint brush to clean the dust off?

I believe a lint brush is the way of cleaning. And as I have said 3 times, it looks and FEELS like suede

Do your research. I am willing to be that flocking will last much longer than CF wrap. Not too mention, have you looked at your dash? See all those odd curves, indents, airbag etc? Good luck getting wrap to look decent

I'd definitely try that before I'd flock my car all up.

You could also get some enching primer, followed by scratch filling primer, then mat or semi-gloss paint of your choice

sorry for the late reply, my copmuter died and I lost all my favorites and totally forgot about this site. I ended up plasti dipping my dash. Deff a cheap, easy alternative, very forgiving, easy to undo. heres a pic.

Although the air vent trim hasnt settled right, im not sure why. It doesn't look as good now, but a simple re application will fix it up.
