Make sure you have some extra lithium grease for the ball socket. You can probably reuse some of the old stuff left in the socket, but I just went ahead and put new stuff in there. Have fun! The shifter is an easy and fun project.

Put in at least the pivot bushings with it. The bushings are great.

Be careful with the o rings on the plastic cup. They fall off or don't go on quite right, so just be patient.

Have some way to get the c-clip out. I got a cheap set of pliers. Use cotton swabs to get the grease off before trying.

Just be patient and careful with dash clips. Its not a bad install if its just the lever side of it.

Yeah I'm an idiot. I knew I should have ordered bushings with it too. Now I'm gonna have to wait till the bushings get here to install it. Sucks...wanted to install it tomorrow

If you are not doing the pivot bushings, then you can install the SS.

the front & rear bushings are installed from under the car.

If you got the super shifter kit,it comes with pivot bushings. They are the ones installed from inside the car.
