This is a discussion on Most compatible A-Pillar mount for prosport gauges? within the Interior Mods forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; I know that prosport doesnt make their own a-pillar, and I was wondering if one came recommended for buying!...

I recommend saving the $$ you spend on Prosports for a higher quality gauge (e.g., Defi).

I'm using the Autometer 3 gauge a-pillar pod for mine. Even though I have Prosports I have to agree with EJ257.. I've had to return my oil pressure gauge three times already, and my EGT gauge quit working for about a month, although it seems to be okay now.

Right.. I haven't had trouble with their customer service. But with the money I've spent returning sh*t I could have bought better gauges in the first place.

OUCH. Thats interesting, because on the gauge faq/sticky, it says that prosport is one of the most popular gauges, and Im geussing they didnt get that way by selling faulty gauges... Should there be a revision? Because I know that it certainly affected my decision.

I have a prosport gauge, I had a problem with it when I bought it. Their customer service was good, but I kept arguing with them because I knew what was wrong and they didn't want to acknowledge it. I knew the harness was bad and the gauge was fine, but they kept telling me otherwise, and when they finally sent me a new harness...voila, it worked. That was after sending them the gauge back 2x to be tested.

Now that it's working, I have no complaints. It reads perfectly fine and works just as it's supposed to.

As far as gauge mounts go....I personally have the SMY cluster and I love how it looks. Have you checked that out?

Prosport has never been known for their quality, the reason they're popular is because they're so cheap. (and they don't look half bad either)

Glowshift are probably the worst quality gauges out there.

At least all of mine are working properly (right now *knocks on wood*). They're alright.. I just freak out every time my oil pressure gauge starts acting up. I'll probably be a little more comfortable with it once my KillerB pickup is installed.
