How do I get my 2011 wrx to locks the doors automatically when i start driving and unlock when i take the key out.
Sadly that cannot be done.You will have to push the lock button every time you want to lock/unlock.Dumb?Absolutely.

My guess is you'd need a microcontroller reading the voltage from the speedometer and the "key in" sensor, then power a relay to the door locks. Possible? Yes. Worth the trouble and voided warrantee modifying the electrical system? Highly unlikely.

Why is that dumb? If I wanted a car that does everything for me I would have bought American.
Lock / unlock as described isn't as easy as lock / unlock with motor on / off; that's relatively common and can be relayed.

My '93 Toyota does this; relays. Auto all-window-up when motor goes off would also be neat to have.
