im about to buy the dual gauge pod that snaps in where the insturment cluster is can anyone tell me why some gauges are like 300 bucks opposed to 50 whats the difference really im not looking to spend a fortune on them any ideas where i can get a good quality gauge for a decent price

You're paying for quality, accuracy and what exactly the gauge is measuring. Some require sensors which add to the cost. Prosport, Defi, and Maddad are a few reputable brands.

I just went through the same thing. What I read, and was advised was to get a good quality gauge. It might cost a bit more now, but you won't have to worry about it.
