That picture looks like my '11 Limited's floor mat holder (I just left my all weather mats in all summer, though; they look like the protect the carpet underneath better).

My 2004 WRX's retaining clip (snap by driver's door) broke at some point along the way and they told me they didn't make that clip anymore and gave me a 'hook' style one to replace it (hook snaps into plastic part that goes under the carpet). Well, that 'hook' was constantly coming off (darn near useless, IMO) whereas the original 'snap' held it in place very well, but eventually breaks from the pressure of the mat always pulling on it when you move your feet, etc. I would have rather replaced it every so often, but they quit making them only to use a worthless hook instead.

This clip is for the driver's side....anyone know if you can put it on the pass side?

My pass side floor mat keeps getting all pushed around, it had the retainer piece on the driver's side, but not the pass. So I think I may check into doing this.
