I want to install the metal pedals on my 06 tr. It looks like there is more to the task than removing the old ones and installing new ones. I can only find ones with instructions that involve drilling hols n such. Does anyone know if there are easy kits available or what is involved in this project? also any links to recommended kits wold be awesome. tnx.
06 TR, COBB AP2,,COBB DP, K&N sr, G200 CB
Subaru factory short throw, Auto dimm Rear view, Factory fog lamp kit (self installed)
AM cobalt gauges: WB fuel, oil press (elec), boost (mech,30hg-20+)

99.5 Jetta...I hear they make 90 to the wheels....

The link says that the pedal set does not fit WRX TR, I'm assuming this would just involve some drilling. Any decent set will involve drilling most likely. Turn In Concepts has some very nice pedal sets on their site. If/when I upgrade my WRX pedals, I'll be ordering from there.
Edit: TIC doesn't offer them for Subaru anymore by the looks of it. They were manufactured by SRP Racing.
The ones that fit the 08 supposedly fit the 06 TR....it says so in the link! lol...but they are like twice as much in price!

the WRX ones are metal and the TR pedals aren't
I think that you have to replace more than just the pedal face with the TR ones, whereas you can unscrew and rescrew some new pedals on the WRX.
