    New shift knob design

    hey guys, so I was looking for a unique shift knob, and i got inspired by my lug nuts, so it's in the shape of a lug nut.. I'd like your opinions of what you think about it

    Style > Function = FTL

    No part of that looks comfortable.

    do you think it would be better if i tried to round of the edges a little bit? or what do you think would help it?

    I don't love it or hate. I nothing it. I wouldn't chose it for my own car but if you like it, it wouldn't bother me. I can think of plenty more annoying things that could be done. It doesn't look very comfortable though. You should try it for. While and see what you think.

    Fail on the poll though for no "meh" option. Lol.

    i prefer my knobs to be smooth, round, polished, and comfortable to fit my hand around...

    maybe it would look better if you had a shift boot and it didnt look like your shifter was from a mid 90's F150

    Yes, I would suggest a large radius dome like this...

    The shape should fit comfortably in your hand with minimal sharp edges. Specifically, I like the idea of the hex, but the totally square top of your current design should change.

    Edit: Nice work on the cutting, just refine the design for better function and you may have something.
