Installed footwell illumination kit

Purchased the red footwell illumination kit about 3 weeks ago for my '11 REX and my 16 year old son installed it. He likes to mess with car stereos, etc... Build his first computer at 12!

Anyway, the footwells now have a nice red glow at night that matches the gauges and console! I tried to take some pictures but the flash keeps coming on. I'll try again and if they look decent, I'll post them.

Looks wicked for $36 doesn't it? lol.. I love mine.. installed it in my 2010 about a month after I bought it.

I also went with red.. it fits well with the red accents in the interior.

Its a nice mod. I also sharpied the dome light red. Its like a night op in there. Now I just need a hud.

For those skeptics who doubted my post a few days back, here are some pics of the footwell illumination in my '11 REX. I'd have to say that with the darkness and flash off, these aren't the best pictures, but they give you an idea.

i want this in my car could you possibly post some steps to install? my dealer wants to charge like 80 bucks for installation!!

its a plug n play deal. The kit comes with instructions.. vague ones.. but instructions none the less. It basically T's into your cubby lighting harness and the led's mount on the lower dash above the footwells.
