I have a completely stock 04 sti and just recently installed a boost autogauge boost gauge. it idles at around 15-20hg but at full boost it shows a little above 20psi? Is this normal?

Got any suggestions of whats wrong?
Could be an issue with the gauge, could be an issue with the car.Originally Posted by queenstown3

Autogauge are probably the worst quality gauges ive ever come across... I had one on my audi OBD2 said I boosted 0.6bar and this thing read 1,5bar... If you on a budget i would suggest getting a Prosport gauge... they not perfect but its one step closer to Defi![]()

Is it elec. or mechanical ?
I took it to the local subaru mechanic today to see if everythings ok. He said its just the gauge which is not accurate. He told me it was putting out 18.4PSI which is normal. In my opinion 18.4psi is a little high for a stock car where the turbo hasnt been wound out?
