I don't get it.. Does the punchline have to do with the fact that it is titled "Stereo Install" but there isn't any video of installation?

    huh?

It was 105 degrees, 85% humidity. I wasnt about to film disassembly and do the work of installing... The video is of the finished product... Besides it was just a Outback ... And I understand ... Your location says NJ.

The main stereo install lesson I have learned over time:

NEVER take off ANY form of dash/door panel for a friend. Let them break the clips. It's a learning experience and almost unavoidable. I just always buy a box of spares preemptively.

Also, depending on the car, it can go anywhere from a 24pack for 2-3 people to a full keg. My '97 caddy was 4 cases by the time we finished it. Sounded (and looked) darn good by the end. Wasn't a bad experience either. Then my brakes gave out and my head gasket blew. At the same time.

    To answer your question, YES

My friend wanted my help installing a stereo in his moms Hyundai Tiburon. I said yes on the phone and didnt't know what I got myself into. of corse his frist action of the whole project was to cut the stock wireing harness off.(idiot I know)

It took me over 3 Hrs just to get all 4 speakers working because those damn Koreans know how to really mess up a wiring harness.

The hu in my van only has 3 or 4 wires connected

Think pwr, grnd, remote, and that may be it lol. Signal is all done through the RCAs. I might have forgotten one, but it made the wiring harness ordeal pretty simple. Electrical tape and three quick connect junctions =P
