I have a 2006 wrx tr. I was wondering if anyone could post some picture on where to hook up the boost gauge line. Im not sure if i have it hooked up to the right line. I think im coming off the vacuum line. Help is much appreciated. Thanks!

You want to tee into the vaccuum line coming off the BPV at about 3-4" away from it.
Make sure when you run the vaccuum line to the guage in the cabin that it is free from pinching and is away from anything that could possibly cause pinching.
Here's a good write-up for you:

nice. thanks. i was definatly coming of the wrong side. i reconnect to the line coming off the manifold and my boost gauge is reading 12 psi now. now on to the turbo timer !![]()
Why exactly are you installing a turbo timer?

im instaling a turbo timer because it'll give time for my turbo to cool down.......thats what a turbo timers for right. it'll extend the life of my turbo.unless you know any other reason.i get looks anyways.
Given the fact that our turbos are water cooled they don't really need to sit and idle to cool down. The general consensus seems to be that as long as you're not driving like a maniac then instantly shut your car off and walk away you turbo will cool fine without a turbo timer.
Having one certainly isn't going to hurt anything though.
Heh.. yea, I wasn't thinking about wasted gas. Although idling these days with electronic fuel injection isn't going to use too much fuel.
ive seen so many people asking how to install them, with the reply, if you need to ask just go sell it and buy turbo you'll need it for first...
What was that man? jus buy turbo......thats where u lost me.
