prosport oil pressure gauge(new) works fine at idle, but as soon as I step on the gas the gauge pegs max and stays there until I hit a light and the cars idling again. Anybody have any suggestions on how I can fix this? It would be cool to have a functioning gauge while driving.

Contact Prosport. They have good customer service from what I've heard. The success stories with them seem to be hit or miss.

Did you check the ground to the sender? With the gauge pegging out it indicates an open circuit. So maybe the engine torgue on throttle combined with a loose ground/bad wire is causing the problem.
As mentioned above you can always call us for tech support so we can get you fixed up asap.
would the rposport sanwich adapter work for a different brand of gauges? glowshift oil sanchwicha dapter is terrible

Our adapter plate will work as long as the sensors you are using are 1/8th NPT![]()
My Prosport electronic oil pressure gauge reads ~20psi low across the board. I'm going to give you guys a call some time this week and see what we can work out. It's probably a bad sending unit, maybe I you could send me a replacement and I could send the current one back once I get the replacement installed, or can it be recalibrated? It still works, but it's reading 1psi at idle and the mechanical gauge I hooked up was reading 23psi.
please call us for warranty and return information
