Damnit. I found a nice shifter knob for a good price and installed it and then couldn't get my Sti into reverse. I didn't realize they need a special knob that lets the reverse sleeve go up into the knob. Who else makes nice aftermarket knobs for these? Any suggestions? I heard heavier is better for smoother shifting?

I would imagine a heavier ball or whatever would give a little more weight behind the shift..or a little more to push going into third and fifth? Had a heavy steel ball in my previous car and I did not notice much of a difference! Just my opinion, you could like it!
