I bought the Perrin and it sucks so bad that i never used it; the shifting is so hard and off angle it is not worth anything. It was easy to install and that got my attention but it is like a dumb blond showing lots of cleavage - looks good but not worth the money spent.

If your going to do the shifter a good idea is to do the shifter bushings as well...

I have heard great things about kartboy... and great things about white line bushings...

This is the first time iv heard perrin not being very good though..

The OEM short throws seem to be very popular also..

    Bushings > lever

TiC offers a complete bushing/lever combo for ~$200 that I would recommend - unfortunately, something's up with their site right now, so I can't link you to it

The problem with the OEM piece is that for the cost, it doesn't perform as well as aftermarket options.

I have the kartboy short shifter, and the bushings, it totally changes the feel of shifting, in a GOOD way. I would recommend kartboy, but, don't just get the shifter, get the bushings too!
